As a community and industry developer, we bear a huge responsibility in ensuring that our community develops in an attractive and sustainable way.

Here at Granitor, we have a very highly set strategic target: to contribute to a better future. For us, this means that we conduct our business operations in a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable way. We take responsibility by conducting responsible business and inspiring to new and more sustainable solutions for our customers and partners. We do not consider sustainability to be a separate project; it is already integrated in our daily operations.

Sustainable development

We manage our operations in a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable way. Our activities should not have a negative impact on people or the environment – now nor in the future.

Granitor works according to the following principles:

  • We build things that are beneficial and long-lasting. We develop and manage properties to support our customers’ operations, contributing toward the development of local communities, facilitating how people work, reside and thrive.
  • We extend the lifetime of our customers’ facilities.
  • We invest early in technologies that show true potential for the advancement of society and making a positive impact.

One tree for each employee

Every year, we plant a tree for every new employee at Granitor. The first 4,400 trees were planted in January 2022 and from now on we will plant trees for our new employees at the end of each year. Together, the trees form Granitor Forest.

Code of conduct

Here at Granitor, we conduct responsible business. Therefore we set high standards when it comes to those we work with. Our Code of Conduct is based on UN:s universal declaration of human rights, UN:s Global Compact and ILO:s core conventions on fundamental human rights at work.
